Danielle Boisvert
B.A., LL.B.

Danielle Boisvert obtained her Bachelor of Arts (with distinction), majoring in Sociology and Criminology, from the University of Alberta in 2000. After obtaining her Bachelor of Law degree at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 2007, she returned to Edmonton to article with the firm. She has practiced exclusively in the area of criminal law since being called to the bar in 2008.

Throughout her degree, Danielle was actively involved as a volunteer caseworker, group leader and operations coordinator with Queen’s Legal Aid, providing free legal services to low-income residents in criminal law, landlord/tenant law, and disability benefits appeals. She focused her studies on criminal law, evidence, advocacy and constitutional law. She also worked part time for a local lawyer and a criminal law professor.

Danielle has successfully defended and represented people throughout Alberta in all levels of court on a variety of traffic, criminal and drug offences. She has also been involved in the preparation of appeals before the Alberta Court of Appeal.
